Keep the system of record explicit
WooCommerce is commonly the right place for products, carts, orders, and checkout. WPistic is designed to add connected operations around a WordPress business: customer context, support, memberships, licensing, messaging, and insight. The useful architecture is complementary, not a forced replacement.
Write down the authority for each field. For example, an order status may come from WooCommerce, a support conversation from Chatbotistic, and a customer timeline from CRMistic. If two systems can edit the same field, define the conflict and audit behavior before launch.
Treat marketing and analytics as a consented layer
Commerce teams often combine purchase data, behavior events, email audiences, and support history. That combination can be useful, but it also changes the privacy story. Use clear notices, permission controls, retention limits, and an export or deletion process appropriate to your customers and jurisdictions.
The same rule applies to AI support. The assistant should use approved product and policy information, reveal when a person is needed, and avoid turning a customer message into an unreviewed commercial decision.
